URCA - Derailment Control Device

Extensive derailment control system which detects cars derailed through a sensor bar installed on rails and alerts operator via radio through digital voice alert message.

Fail Safe Option including remote supervision and management from the Operation Control Center via GPRS mobile phone.

Further Functionalities
URCA is a programmable, multifunctional remote unit for telemonitoring and telecommand that can be applied to other solutions, such as:

- Rail bonding detector;
- Rail temperature measurement;
- Monitoring of AMV key positioning, exchanging information in an online basis with the OBC;
- Traffic lights monitoring.
